Everything you wanted to know about me. . . .and then some
I was born and raised in Southern California but moved to Texas about 18 years ago. Met my husband in high school and got married two years after graduation. That’s him in the picture with me. With three kids, three grandkids and two daughter-in-laws it has been over 44 years of wedded bliss – well mostly. Yes – we are BabyBoomers with Boomerang kids.
I am a life-long learner and after we moved to Texas I decided to finish my education and went back to college at Dallas Baptist University and competed my Bachelors in Arts and Sciences and then continued on and earned my Masters in Organizational Management with a focus on healthcare. Then, armed with my degrees I obtained a job as a Practice Manager in a pediatric office. What I learned in those 7 or so years is that I love medical billing and coding and so took courses and when the opportunity arose I took a job with a medical billing and coding company. Not only am I doing what I love to do, I do it at home. Yep, I’m a remote medical biller coder.
Not too long ago I found quilting I learned to sew in Junior high home ec but Jenny Doan tutorials from Missouri Star Quilt taught me the techniques and fun of quilting. I now have a stash and UFO’s, quilt patterns, books about quilts, and five or six quilt projects going at the same time But, that’s my other blog 5 Bears Blog.
I just recently reworked this blog because it was a bit too narrow in its focus and I always find stuff to share and talk about but it did not fit the theme or focus of the blog. Hence the name, I could be wandering all over the place. Hope you will come along.
